Even if the land is fully paid for (which it probably won't be for several years), we will have to deal with construction costs (road building, clearing brush, sewage installations), maintenance costs (gardening, improvements, general upkeep), and other costs associated with owning land (insurance and taxes). The SCA will be asked to pay a fee for the use of the land, and that will determine the site fee charged for the event.
